The
Chaplaincy Ministry originally started out as an outreach
to meet the spiritual needs of the men and women incarcerated
in the Harris County jail facilities. It soon became apparent
that there was also a need to minister to those that oversee
the inmates as well.
In a place where we are surrounded by degradation, pain,
violence, depression and fear, we strive to present hope to
bring about change in the lives of the inmates. We labor,
knowing that the only hope is from our God. Our desire is
to see a life changing transformation in the lives of those
we minister to, with the extra blessing of getting the opportunity
to share our faith with all of you... the men and women in
law enforcement.
We salute you; in what often times is a thankless job.
We respect your professionalism and call it a privilege to
labor with you to make Harris County a secure facility. We,
as Chaplains, desire to be available whenever we are needed.
