Every year the Sheriff’s Reserves participate in the Easter Bunny Charity Event. Again, our dedicated Reserve deputies and their family members gather their resources and successfully bring joy to those children and their families who are spending the holiday in the hospital. Hundreds of children are visited in area Children’s Hospitals and are greeted with a new plush toy and a coloring book with crayons by none other than The Easter Bunny.
What excitement it brings to these children, when they receive a personal visit from The Easter Bunny and his friends. Spirits are brought to a new level with smiles and laughter and as it soon becomes apparent, everyone finds that it is contagious. What a way to warm your heart.
