The Harris County Sheriff's Office, Patrol Bureau District
III consists of 1 main office and 1 storefront. The main office
is the Wallisville Substation located at 14350 Wallisville
Road. The Highlands Storefront is located at 610 S. Main St.
in Highlands, Texas. Both offices are open 8:00am - 6:00pm
Monday through Friday, excluding county holidays.
These offices are open to the public to obtain offense and
accident reports worked by the Sheriff's Office & file
non-emergency reports.
The costs for the reports are:
Offense Reports: $0.10 per page
Accident Reports: $4.00 copy
$6.00 certified
To obtain the pubic release of an offense report, you will
need to have the HCSO case number given to you at the time
of the incident.
The HCSO case number given you by the deputy is how the Sheriff's
Office keeps track of all calls received by this department,
whether a report is actually written or not. You should always
keep this case number on hand to refer back to.
The HCSO case number consists of the following:
year, month, date & 4-digit event number.
(ex: 030101-1234)
To obtain a copy of an accident report, you will need to
have 2 of the following:
Name of one driver
Date of accident
Location of accident
You may also come to this office to file a non-emergency
report for any criminal offense other than the following,
which require an officer to make the crime scene:
Burglary of a Residence
Burglary of a Building
Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
Criminal Mischief
