The Support Services Bureau is comprised of three divisions,
Inmate Affairs, Medical, and Support Services. The Bureau
provides services to meet a wide variety of needs within the
detention facilities of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
From educational opportunities to chaplain services, from
TB testing to HIV counseling, and from meal preparation to
the management of inmate’s monies the Support Services
Bureau has personnel who are dedicated to the health, safety,
and welfare of those inmates who are committed to the custody
of the Sheriff.
