Crack Rock in a Sock

10/15/2009

October 8, 2009
On this date, Harris County Sheriff Deputy Caylor responded to an anonymous call indicating that a man was selling crack cocaine from a shed in the 2400 block of Broad Street. When the deputy arrived, he found a man inside the shed. The man appeared to have been startled at the sight of the deputy and was seen throwing something to the rear of the shed. Deputy Caylor detained the suspect, identified as 51-year-old Timothy McQueen of Baytown. He observed a bulge in Mr. McQueen’s sock. The bulge turned out to be a crack rock. Deputy Caylor also located the object that was thrown to the rear of the shed and found it to be an unmarked pill bottle containing several more crack rocks. Mr. McQueen was charged with possession of a controlled substance and is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
