On August 25, 2009, Deputy Ortega responded to a disturbance call at the Waffle House located at 410 FM 1960. The deputy conducted a criminal history check on all involved parties and found that 20-year-old Warina Stewart had an open felony warrant for theft for an incident that took place back in May. At that time, Ms. Stewart allegedly stole car keys from a gentleman while giving him a lap dance at a strip club in the 300 block of Rankin Road. Ms. Stewart was reported to have been seen on surveillance video driving off in the complainant’s 2005 Mercedes Benz on the night of the theft. Ms. Stewart was arrested and later released on a $2,000 bond.
